Diplomatic Council appoints Steffen Rabus to the DC Commission for United Nations Affairs

New task: After establishing the Logistics Forum, now responsible for collaborating with the United Nations 

April 18, 2016 – The Diplomatic Council (DC, www.diplomatic-council.org) has appointed Steffen Rabus, an experienced businessman and entrepreneur, as a member of its DC Commission for UN Affairs. The commission is responsible for the cooperation with the United Nations. Last year the Diplomatic Council was granted the special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. This consultative status is the highest rank a non-governmental organization such as the Diplomatic Council can achieve with the United Nations. As a DC Commissioner for UN Affairs, Steffen Rabus will be responsible for advancing and maintaining these relations.

Steffen Rabus has had a leading position in the Diplomatic Council since 2012. He was initially appointed as Chairman of the Global Logistics Forum and has since led the Logistics Forum to its present size. He now brings a global network of contacts to enhance the work with the UN.

The content work of the Diplomatic Council is divided into more than 30 forums, directorates, programs and initiatives including automotive, corporate culture, children, disaster relief, finance, healthcare, IT, media, SME businesses, etc.

The Diplomatic Council (UN reg.) is a global think tank accredited at the United Nations with consultative status connecting the worlds of diplomacy, economy and society.
