Offenbach am Main/Germany, March 3, 2022 – Silberline is one of the world’s leading suppliers of aluminum effect pigments. The company founded in 1945 has transferred the sales & distribution of pigment products for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg to the Bodo Möller Chemie Group effective March 1^st. The Silberline effect pigments are used in many applications, such as in car paints, printing inks and plastics. The Benelux market enjoys a special status in the field, as there are more than 120 paint and coating manufacturers in the Netherlands alone that have a growing need of industrial effect pigments. “The collaboration with one of the leading manufacturers of aluminum pigments strengthens even more our focus on high-performance products in the area of the paints and coatings industry and consolidates our position as additive and pigment supplier for the most varied applications,” says Volker Oehl, Director of Business Development of Bodo Möller Chemie. “Effect pigments are used in many plastics to improve functionality and esthetics.
