Bodo Möller Chemie: Technical seminar about industrial bonding in Augsburg

  • The live seminar about industrial bonding becomes part of the Bodo Möller Chemie TechDialog
  • Date: May 12, 2022, in Augsburg at the Dorint Hotel

Offenbach am Main/Germany, April 4, 2022 – In many sectors, bonding is nowadays the standard for joining building components. Stability, durability and weight savings, as well as the use with many different materials, characterize the adhesives used in industrial bonding. As partner of leading manufacturers, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group is an established partner for industrial users. With its own seminars, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group has been training specialists and users in the use of modern adhesives. The seminars, which take place every year, are very popular and have become by now an integral part of the series of seminars and webinars of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group receiving the name TechDialog. The next seminar about adhesives will take place on May 12, 2022 in Augsburg, where in addition to the adhesive specialists of Bodo Möller Chemie, experts from Huntsman Advanced Materials will also illustrate all important aspects of adhesive systems and processes in an extensive program.

From the beginner to the specialist
The staff working in bonding technology receives extensive basic knowledge about adhesive technology from the basic to the professional level. Future-oriented sectors such as electrical mobility, rail vehicles, aviation and many other sectors rely on high-performance bonding. “Modern bonding starts with the surface processing of the workpieces, dosing of the components, and optimal processing. We give participants the fundamentals necessary for this plus the knowledge of the ideal adhesives,” says Jürgen Ihrybauer, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Austria, who is in charge of the seminar. Apart from the fundamentals of adhesive technologies and surface preparation, of process control in bonding and practical applications, the modern high-performance MMA adhesives made by Huntsman, which are ideally suited for the elastic adhesive bonding of highly stressed joints, are also presented. DIN 2304-1, likewise part of the seminar, serves as the technical guideline.

Certified adhesives laboratory
The Bodo Möller Chemie Group analyzes the adhesives and polymer resins for industrial use with more than 15 testing methods in its own laboratory of the Adhesive Competence Center. The laboratory is certified according to EN 6701-2 (bonding for the rail industry), DIN 2304 (quality requirements for adhesive processes), and ISO 9001: 2015 (quality management). “We have many decades of experience and partnerships with leading manufacturers in the adhesive market. Thus, together with our customers, we find complete solutions for the bonding challenges,” adds Jürgen Ihrybauer. Registrations for the full-day seminar on May 12 in Augsburg are immediately accepted in www.bm-chemie.com/techdialog; the number of participants is limited to 70 persons. For early birds, the seminars costs 255 euros when booked by April 14, 2022; from then on until the registration deadline of April 25, the normal price of 295 euros will be charged to each participant plus statutory value-added tax.
