Frankfurt, June 16, 2015 – The Diplomatic Council (DC, www.diplomatic-council.org) cordially invites to its traditional DC All Nations Summer Celebration on July 6 which will take place at the historical Villa Rothschild near Frankfurt International Airport (Germany). The Diplomatic Council, a United Nations registered global Think Tank, is excited to welcome around 250 sophisticated guests from diplomacy, economy, art, culture and society.
The highlights of the evening include speeches from DC Secretary General Thi Thai Hang Nguyen, DC Founding President Buddhi K. Athauda, Ambassador at Large of the Diplomatic Council in Washington D.C. as well as the festive inauguration of Her Excellency, Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador of the Royal Kingdom of Thailand to Germany, as the new President of the Diplomatic Council. H.E. Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana was nominated the “Ambassador of the Year” by the Diplomatic Council’s cooperation partner Diplomatisches Magazin in Berlin.
A unique exhibition of selected works from Vincent van Gogh in three-dimensional print will be available for guests to adore, expertly presented by Edwin Becker, Chief Curator Exhibition of the Van Gogh-Museum (Amsterdam) and Art Curator of the Diplomatic Council. Musical highlights comprise arias from internationally well-known operas, sung by soprano singer Anna Emelyanova, who was discovered as a child prodigy at the age of 6 years (she won the „Musical Performance and Pedagogies“ and „Musica Classica“) and the Belgian opera singer (tenor) Prof. Axel Steven Everaert, recital solo artist, jury member of renowned musical competitions (Queen Elizabeth Contest) and teacher at several European music academies.
E-cars from BMW and Tesla will be presented during the entire celebration. By introducing e-cars, the Diplomatic Council raises awareness for the topic sustainability, which is one of the focus topic of the Post-2015 Development Agenda at this year’s General Assembly of the United Nations.
The historical Villa Rothschild – also called the “House of Nations” – is one of the most traditional estates in Frankfurt. Since 1887, it has been serving to receive high-ranking aristocrats and business captains. It furthermore functioned as the conference center for the parliament and is known as the “birthplace of the German Republic”. Today it is operated as a 5***** grand hotel and recommended as a Diplomatic Council “DC Best Hotel of the World”.
